Br’er Coon and Br’er Rabbit

Here is a thing that I did. It’s part of a three-page story which looks very ugly. This is one of the few parts in it that I like. It was homework, I had to put in comics the story of Br’er Coon and Br’er Rabbit – I think that’s a folk tale.

Aqui está uma coisa que eu fiz. Faz parte de uma história de três páginas que ficou muito feia. Este é um dos poucos pedaços que não ficaram horríveis. Foi um dever de casa, eu tinha que contar a história do guaxinim e do coelho. Acho que “Br’er” é tipo uma pronúncia antiga de “brother”. É uma história folclórica ou algo assim.

Here’s something else I did with Hazel: Craig Thompson (author and main character of “Blankets”) meets Chester Brown (author and main character of “Paying for it”). I guess you won’t really understand the jokes if you haven’t read the books, but you should’ve read them already, you lazy bum. Don’t you keep up with the great comics of your day and age?
